Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Financials, Public Services and Agriculture sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP rose 0.10%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Cementos Argos Pf (CN:CCB_p), which rose 2.19% or 210.0 points to trade at 9800.0 at the close. Cemargos (CN:CCB) added 1.67% or 180.0 points to end at 10960.0 and Pfgrupsura (CN:SIS_p) was up 0.69% or 260.0 points to 37720.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p), which lost 1.24% or 380.0 points to trade at 30300.0 in late trade. Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC) declined 1.18% or 0.3 points to end at 25.1 and Grupoaval (CN:GAA) shed 1.15% or 15.0 points to 1285.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 15 to 11 and 4 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was up 0.81% or 1.00 to $123.90 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in March rose 0.72% or 15.00 to hit $2107.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.43% or 5.45 to trade at $1280.75 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.24% to 3001.73, while BRL/COP fell 0.27% to 921.26.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.11% at 93.90.
