Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Services, Industrials and Financials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP added 0.04%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Cementos Argos Pf (CN:CCB_p), which rose 2.43% or 190.0 points to trade at 8000.0 at the close. Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) added 2.22% or 210.0 points to end at 9680.0 and Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1) was up 1.37% or 420.0 points to 31040.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC), which lost 1.63% or 0.4 points to trade at 24.1 in late trade. Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) declined 1.61% or 50.0 points to end at 3065.0 and Pfgrupoarg (CN:ARG_p) shed 1.48% or 240.0 points to 16020.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 1 to 0 on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for May delivery was down 0.04% or 0.05 to $120.33 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in May fell 1.67% or 41.50 to hit $2445.00 , while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.09% or 1.20 to trade at $1322.90 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.17% to 2871.00, while BRL/COP rose 0.27% to 882.71.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.01% at 90.12.
