Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Technology and Industrials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 0.16%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIBs), which rose 1.86% or 3.6 points to trade at 197.0 at the close. Svenska Cellulosa AB SCA ser. B (ST:SCAb) added 1.82% or 4.0 points to end at 223.4 and Hennes & Mauritz AB, H & M ser. B (ST:HMb) was up 1.13% or 3.5 points to 314.3 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Lundin Petroleum AB (ST:LUPE), which lost 2.57% or 3.30 points to trade at 125.30 in late trade. SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) declined 1.87% or 0.70 points to end at 36.80 and Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST:ELUXb) shed 1.67% or 4.1 points to 241.6.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 302 to 252 and 4 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was down 3.14% or 1.56 to $48.07 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 2.90% or 1.53 to hit $51.38 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.50% or 5.80 to trade at $1161.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.36% to 9.2817, while USD/SEK fell 0.43% to 8.1641.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.12% at 94.82.
