Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Sunday, as gains in the Banking, Oil & Gas and Communication sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 25 added 0.14%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 25 were Delek Drilling LP (TA:DEDRp), which rose 3.65% or 46 points to trade at 1307 at the close. Delek Group (TA:DLEKG) added 3.06% or 2880 points to end at 97140 and Azrieli Group (TA:AZRG) was up 2.91% or 460 points to 16250 in late trade.
Biggest losers included OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK), which lost 4.90% or 218 points to trade at 4233 in late trade. Teva (TA:TEVA) declined 3.37% or 870 points to end at 24950 and Ormat Technologies (TA:ORA) shed 1.75% or 240 points to 13470.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 176 to 139 and 135 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was down 2.28% or 1.06 to $45.69 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 2.76% or 1.40 to hit $49.28 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.32% or 3.60 to trade at $1120.90 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.13% to 3.9207, while EUR/ILS rose 0.11% to 4.3718.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.06% at 96.26.
