Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Energy & Utilities, Real Estate Development and Petrochemicals sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.30%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Tabuk Cement Co. (SE:3090), which rose 9.89% or 1.06 points to trade at 11.78 at the close. Northern Region Cement Co (SE:3004) added 7.74% or 0.72 points to end at 10.02 and AL JOUF CEMENT COMPANY (SE:3091) was up 6.48% or 0.47 points to 7.72 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Mobile Telecommunications Company (SE:7030), which lost 9.93% or 0.73 points to trade at 6.62 in late trade. Fawaz Abdulaziz AlHokair Company (SE:4240) declined 4.92% or 1.92 points to end at 37.10 and Etihad Etisalat Co (SE:7020) shed 4.50% or 0.63 points to 13.36.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 123 to 46 and 8 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.59% or 0.31 to $52.16 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.19% or 0.11 to hit $58.22 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.09% or 1.10 to trade at $1279.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.30% to 4.4238, while USD/SAR fell 0.01% to 3.7501.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.30% at 93.55.
