Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Industrials, Technology and Healthcare sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 0.46%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Alfa Laval AB (ST:ALFA), which rose 4.43% or 8.1 points to trade at 191.0 at the close. SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) added 3.62% or 1.53 points to end at 43.75 and H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb) was up 3.13% or 6.6 points to 217.8 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb), which lost 9.01% or 15.0 points to trade at 151.5 in late trade. Atlas Copco AB ser. B (ST:ATCOb) declined 7.00% or 20.8 points to end at 276.5 and Atlas Copco AB ser. A (ST:ATCOa) shed 6.86% or 22.9 points to 311.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 370 to 343 and 92 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.64% or 0.30 to $46.24 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.43% or 0.21 to hit $48.70 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.49% or 5.96 to trade at $1233.46 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.04% to 9.5238, while USD/SEK fell 0.01% to 8.3023.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.06% at 94.96.
