Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Auto & components, Telecoms and Banking sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 1.26%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Storebrand ASA (OL:STB), which rose 0.59% or 0.30 points to trade at 51.30 at the close. Orkla ASA (OL:ORK) added 0.32% or 0.25 points to end at 77.70 and Schibsted ASA A (OL:SBSTA) was down 0.09% or 0.2 points to 221.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Seadrill Limited (OL:SDRL), which lost 16.84% or 2.7 points to trade at 13.4 in late trade. BW LPG Ltd (OL:BWLPG) declined 7.80% or 3.12 points to end at 36.88 and TGS-NOPEC Geophysical Company ASA (OL:TGS) shed 5.62% or 11.5 points to 193.1.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 129 to 55 and 21 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for March delivery was unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to $53.88 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 0.25% or 0.14 to hit $56.94 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.94% or 11.35 to trade at $1219.65 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.10% to 8.8758, while USD/NOK fell 0.16% to 8.2196.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.16% at 99.53.
