Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Investment, Financials and Agriculture sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP gained 0.16%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Pfgrupoarg (CN:ARG_p), which rose 1.36% or 240.0 points to trade at 17940.0 at the close. Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p) added 1.12% or 340.0 points to end at 30740.0 and Grupo Argos SA (CN:ARG) was up 1.06% or 200.0 points to 18980.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH), which lost 3.34% or 400.0 points to trade at 11560.0 in late trade. Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) declined 2.46% or 240.0 points to end at 9530.0 and Etb (CN:ETB) shed 1.19% or 7.0 points to 583.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 13 to 9 and 2 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was up 0.65% or 1.07 to $165.02 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 1.02% or 28.00 to hit $2729.00 , while the December Gold contract rose 0.19% or 2.40 to trade at $1269.00 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.58% to 2978.20, while BRL/COP rose 0.57% to 939.38.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.33% at 98.92.
