Shares of major U.S.-listed Chinese companies traded mostly higher for the second day in a row on Thursday in Hong Kong.
Major tech stocks like Alibaba (NYSE:BABA) Group Holdings (NYSE: BABA), Baidu Inc (NASDAQ: NASDAQ:BIDU), and JD.com Inc (NASDAQ: JD) gained between 1% and 3%, while Tencent Holdings (HK:0700) (OTC: TCEHY) edged lower after paring early gains.
In the electric vehicle segment, Xpeng Inc (NYSE: NYSE:XPEV), Nio Inc (NYSE: NIO), and Li Auto Inc (NASDAQ: LI) gained as much as 3% during the early trading hours.
