Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Healthcare, Personal & Household Goods and Chemicals sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 1.24% to hit a new 6-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA), which rose 1.70% or 1.10 points to trade at 65.65 at the close. FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) added 1.59% or 3.9 points to end at 249.8 and A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb) was up 0.94% or 90 points to 9710 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb), which lost 3.45% or 10.0 points to trade at 280.0 in late trade. Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) declined 2.40% or 5.4 points to end at 219.4 and GN Store Nord (CO:GN) shed 2.26% or 3.3 points to 142.9.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 84 to 60 and 21 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 2.47% or 1.16 to $48.21 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 2.21% or 1.09 to hit $50.33 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.09% or 1.15 to trade at $1322.55 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.25% to 6.6280, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4531.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.03% at 95.28.
