Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Industrials and Healthcare sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.59%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb), which rose 1.67% or 5.2 points to trade at 316.7 at the close. William Demant Holding (CO:WDH) added 1.65% or 11.0 points to end at 679.0 and Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) was up 1.05% or 5.1 points to 492.5 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS), which lost 2.67% or 12.4 points to trade at 452.6 in late trade. A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb) declined 2.41% or 220 points to end at 8920 and A.P. Moller - Maersk A (CO:MAERSKa) shed 2.09% or 185 points to 8665.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 78 to 66 and 20 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was down 2.57% or 1.18 to $44.74 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 3.02% or 1.43 to hit $45.94 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 0.19% or 2.50 to trade at $1293.00 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.56% to 6.4647, while EUR/DKK fell 0.02% to 7.4421.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.35% at 92.69.
