Investing.com - Crude oil futures were lower during the Asian session on Tuesday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for May delivery traded at USD47.45 a barrel at time of writing falling 2.52%.
Earlier, it traded at a session low USD47.31 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD47.31 and resistance at USD52.48.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.30% to trade at USD98.59.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for May delivery fell 2.35% to trade at USD54.97 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD7.52 a barrel.
