Investing.com - Crude oil futures were higher during the Asian session on Thursday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for September delivery traded at USD97.05 a barrel at time of writing rising 0.13%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD97.14 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD96.69 and resistance at USD98.67.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, fell 0.02% to trade at USD81.47.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for September delivery rose 0.03% to trade at USD104.78 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD7.73 a barrel.
