On the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange, Gold futures for April delivery traded at USD1345.80 a troy ounce at time of writing falling 0.97%.
Earlier, it traded at a session low USD1345.40 a troy ounce. Gold was likely to find support at USD1345.40 and resistance at USD1392.50.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.04% to trade at USD79.55.
Elsewhere on the Comex, Silver for May delivery fell 0.62% to trade at USD20.733 a troy ounce while Copper for May delivery fell 0.60% to trade at USD2.934 a pound.
