Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Personal & Household Goods, Consumer Goods and Industrials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.30%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK), which rose 0.98% or 3.2 points to trade at 330.0 at the close. Tryg A/S (CO:TRYG) added 0.85% or 1.1 points to end at 130.1 and Novozymes B (CO:NZYMb) was up 0.67% or 2.2 points to 330.2 in late trade.
Biggest losers included ISS A/S (CO:ISS), which lost 3.14% or 7.70 points to trade at 237.50 in late trade. Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH) declined 1.67% or 7.4 points to end at 437.0 and Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) shed 1.25% or 10.5 points to 827.5.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 82 to 78 and 9 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was down 1.06% or 0.43 to $40.24 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.06% or 0.03 to hit $43.55 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.15% or 1.60 to trade at $1067.00 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.02% to 7.0097, while EUR/DKK fell 0.02% to 7.4604.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.05% at 99.77.
