On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for June delivery traded at USD99.42 a barrel at time of writing rising 0.01%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD99.47 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD98.75 and resistance at USD102.20.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.04% to trade at USD79.61.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for June delivery fell 0.03% to trade at USD107.75 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD8.33 a barrel.
