On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for December delivery traded at USD80.20 a barrel at time of writing falling 0.40%.
Earlier, it traded at a session low USD80.06 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD80.06 and resistance at USD83.26.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.06% to trade at USD85.91.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for December delivery fell 0.27% to trade at USD84.36 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD4.16 a barrel.
