Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Telecoms & IT, Building & Construction and Cement sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.26%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Makkah Construction&Development Co (SE:4100), which rose 4.64% or 5.00 points to trade at 112.75 at the close. National Agriculture Development Co (SE:6010) added 3.99% or 1.10 points to end at 28.70 and Taiba Holding Co. (SE:4090) was up 3.44% or 1.50 points to 45.10 in late trade.
Biggest losers included AlJazira Mawten REIT (SE:4331), which lost 2.92% or 0.65 points to trade at 21.60 in late trade. Southern Province Cement Co. (SE:3050) declined 2.05% or 1.25 points to end at 59.75 and Electrical Industries Co (SE:1303) shed 1.98% or 0.50 points to 24.70.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 77 to 70 and 30 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for May delivery was up 0.54% or 0.27 to $50.51 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.81% or 0.43 to hit $53.55 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.42% or 5.30 to trade at $1259.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.15% to 3.9962, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.7504.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.16% at 100.52.
