Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Technology, Telecoms and Consumer Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 0.61%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Nokia Oyj (ST:NOKIA), which rose 2.42% or 1.19 points to trade at 50.45 at the close. Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVBs) added 1.95% or 4.6 points to end at 240.6 and Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb) was up 1.92% or 10.00 points to 530.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Telefonaktiebolaget L M Ericsson B (ST:ERICb), which lost 5.16% or 4.30 points to trade at 79.05 in late trade. TeliaSonera AB (ST:TLSN) declined 1.53% or 0.61 points to end at 39.16 and Hennes & Mauritz AB, H & M ser. B (ST:HMb) shed 1.12% or 3.3 points to 292.4.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 276 to 272 and 46 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for May delivery was up 0.45% or 0.19 to $41.95 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.48% or 0.21 to hit $44.39 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 1.66% or 20.70 to trade at $1227.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.26% to 9.1537, while USD/SEK fell 0.19% to 8.1250.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.07% at 94.88.
