Earlier, it traded at a session high USD103.31 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD101.48 and resistance at USD103.45.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.02% to trade at USD80.90.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for September delivery fell 0.04% to trade at USD108.13 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD5.02 a barrel.
