Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Healthcare, Financials and Industrials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.89%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were TDC A/S (CO:TDC), which rose 2.50% or 0.85 points to trade at 34.85 at the close. FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) added 0.71% or 1.8 points to end at 257.1 and ISS A/S (CO:ISS) was up 0.52% or 1.20 points to 230.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included William Demant Holding (CO:WDH), which lost 2.46% or 15.0 points to trade at 595.0 in late trade. Novo Nordisk B (CO:NOVOb) declined 1.76% or 6.5 points to end at 363.5 and DSV (CO:DSV) shed 1.68% or 4.6 points to 269.5.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 79 to 73 and 7 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.50% or 0.23 to $46.05 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.34% or 0.17 to hit $48.45 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.43% or 5.10 to trade at $1177.90 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.21% to 6.5725, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4598.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.18% at 94.84.
