On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Natural gas futures for January delivery traded at USD3.736 per million British thermal units at time of writing falling 1.57%.
Earlier, it traded at a session low USD3.708 per million British thermal units. Natural gas was likely to find support at USD3.606 and resistance at USD3.929.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.17% to trade at USD88.73.
Elsewhere on the Nymex, Crude oil for February delivery fell 2.28% to trade at USD56.76 a barrel while Heating oil for January delivery fell 0.03% to trade at USD2.0167 per gallon.
