Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Industrial Investment, Media & Publishing and Multi Investment sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.19%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Al-Rajhi Cooperative Insurance (SE:8230), which rose 4.57% or 2.25 points to trade at 51.50 at the close. Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (SE:7040) added 4.07% or 0.350 points to end at 8.950 and Saudi Ceramic Co. (SE:2040) was up 4.01% or 1.15 points to 29.80 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Saudi Cement Company (SE:3030), which lost 3.00% or 1.60 points to trade at 51.70 in late trade. United Int Transportation Company (SE:4260) declined 1.92% or 0.42 points to end at 21.40 and Anb Insurance (SE:8011) shed 1.43% or 0.30 points to 20.70.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 91 to 64 and 21 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was down 1.18% or 0.57 to $47.62 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 1.14% or 0.57 to hit $49.55 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.40% or 5.19 to trade at $1292.31 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.39% to 4.2129, while USD/SAR fell 0.01% to 3.7504.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.29% at 96.78.
