Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Industrials, Investment and Public Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 0.72%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p), which rose 0.47% or 140.0 points to trade at 29940.0 at the close. Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) added 0.39% or 10.0 points to end at 2600.0 and Corp Financiera Colombiana SA (CN:CFV) was up 0.16% or 60.0 points to 38080.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Banco De Bogota SA (CN:BBO), which lost 2.70% or 1720.0 points to trade at 62060.0 in late trade. Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) declined 1.84% or 25.0 points to end at 1335.0 and Interconexion Electrica SA (CN:ISA) shed 1.84% or 180.0 points to 9620.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 19 to 7 and 2 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was down 0.55% or 0.84 to $150.73 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 1.05% or 29.00 to hit $2782.00 , while the December Gold contract fell 0.27% or 3.55 to trade at $1330.95 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.53% to 2935.56, while BRL/COP rose 1.33% to 904.06.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.18% at 95.16.
