Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Industrials, Oil & Gas and Chemicals sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.21%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were A.P. Moller - Maersk A (CO:MAERSKa), which rose 3.50% or 280 points to trade at 8270 at the close. A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb) added 3.25% or 265 points to end at 8410 and Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA) was up 2.60% or 1.55 points to 61.20 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which lost 0.91% or 8.0 points to trade at 868.5 in late trade. Novo Nordisk B (CO:NOVOb) declined 0.59% or 2.2 points to end at 367.8 and Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) shed 0.34% or 1.7 points to 493.4.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 82 to 57 and 20 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for May delivery was up 6.52% or 2.43 to $39.69 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 6.21% or 2.45 to hit $41.88 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 0.43% or 5.30 to trade at $1242.80 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.30% to 6.5210, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4412.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.34% at 94.18.
