Investing.com - The number of people applying for first-time jobless benefits in the U.S. rose more-than-expected last week, official data showed on Thursday.
In a report, Department of Labor said that U.S. initial jobless claims rose to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 315K, from 313K in the prior week whose figure was revised up from 312K.
Analysts had expected U.S. initial jobless claims to rise to 314K last week.
