Investing.com - The number of people applying for first-time jobless benefits in the U.S. fell unexpectedly last week, official data showed on Thursday.
In a report, Department of Labor said that U.S. initial jobless claims fell to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 304K, from 315K in the prior week.
Analysts had expected U.S. initial jobless claims to remain unchanged at 315K last week.
