Investing.com - Manufacturing production in the U.K. rose more-than-expected last month, official data showed on Friday.

In a report, National Statistics said that U.K. manufacturing production rose to a seasonally adjusted 0.8%, from 0.4% in the preceding month whose figure was revised down from 0.5%.

Analysts had expected U.K. manufacturing production to rise 0.4% last month.
