Investing.com - Manufacturing production in the U.K. rose unexpectedly last month, official data showed on Tuesday.

In a report, National Statistics said that U.K. manufacturing production rose to a seasonally adjusted 0.1%, from 0.8% in the prior month whose figure was revised up from 0.7%.

Analysts had expected U.K. manufacturing production to fall -0.1% last month.
