Investing.com - Tokyo’s core consumer price inflation remained unchanged unexpectedly last month, official data showed on Thursday.

In a report, the Statistics Bureau said that Tokyo’s core CPI, which excludes fresh food costs remained unchanged at at an annualized rate of -0.1%, from -0.1% in the preceding month.

Analysts had expected Tokyo’s core CPI to fall to -0.2% last month.
