Investing.com - Retail sales in Japan fell more-than-expected last month, official data showed on Monday.

In a report, METI said that Japanese retail sales fell to a seasonally adjusted -9.7%, from -1.7% in the prior month whose figure was revised up from -1.8%.

Analysts had expected Japanese retail sales to fall to -7.3% last month.
