Investing.com – Finland equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Technology, Consumer Services and Industrials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 lost 0.18%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V), which rose 2.63% or 0.0900 points to trade at 3.5100 at the close. Cargotec Oyj (HE:CGCBV) added 2.25% or 0.71 points to end at 32.21 and Konecranes Oyj (HE:KCR1V) was up 2.12% or 0.51 points to 24.55 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Kemira Oyj (HE:KRA1V), which lost 2.29% or 0.26 points to trade at 11.09 in late trade. Kesko Oyj B (HE:KESBV) declined 2.26% or 0.68 points to end at 29.43 and Nokia Oyj (HE:NOKIA) shed 2.25% or 0.140 points to 6.085.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 98 to 84 and 4 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for December delivery was down 0.55% or 0.27 to $47.73 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in December fell 1.03% or 0.46 to hit $44.14 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.29% or 3.40 to trade at $1166.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.29% to 1.1051, while EUR/GBP rose 0.03% to 0.7196.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.28% at 96.91.
