Investing.com - Crude oil futures were lower in U.S. trading hours on Tuesday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for July delivery traded at USD58.09 a barrel at time of writing falling 3.56%.
Earlier, it traded at a session low USD57.95 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD57.95 and resistance at USD61.80.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 1.21% to trade at USD95.36.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for July delivery fell 3.09% to trade at USD64.22 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD6.13 a barrel.
