Investing.com - Retail sales in the euro zone rose unexpectedly last month, industry data showed on Wednesday.

In a report, Eurostat said that Euro Zone Retail Sales rose to 1.1%, from 0.4% in the prior month whose figure was revised up from 0.3%.

Analysts had expected Euro Zone Retail Sales to fall to 0.1% last month.
