Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Healthcare, Technology and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 1.23% to hit a new 1-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Lundin Petroleum AB (ST:LUPE), which rose 1.84% or 2.00 points to trade at 110.90 at the close. Boliden AB (ST:BOL) added 0.60% or 0.90 points to end at 149.90 and Hennes & Mauritz AB, H & M ser. B (ST:HMb) was down 0.06% or 0.2 points to 351.9 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIBs), which lost 2.98% or 6.0 points to trade at 195.2 in late trade. Nokia Oyj (ST:NOKIA) declined 2.97% or 1.65 points to end at 53.90 and Telefonaktiebolaget L M Ericsson B (ST:ERICb) shed 2.25% or 1.95 points to 84.55.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 362 to 73 and 7 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.36% or 0.15 to $41.42 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.33% or 0.15 to hit $47.01 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 1.99% or 22.40 to trade at $1150.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.49% to 9.5268, while USD/SEK fell 0.27% to 8.5017.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.50% at 95.94.
