Investing.com - The number of building permits issued in Canada rose more-than-expected last month, official data showed on Friday.
In a report, Statistics Canada said that Canadian building permits rose to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 7.7%, from -13.6% in the prior month whose figure was revised up from -13.8%.
Analysts had expected Canadian building permits to rise to 5.0% last month.
