Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences, Materials and Auto & components sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 0.50%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Schibsted ASA A (OL:SBSTA), which rose 3.02% or 6.6 points to trade at 225.4 at the close. Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC) added 2.04% or 3.7 points to end at 184.9 and BW LPG Ltd (OL:BWLPG) was up 1.66% or 0.58 points to 35.59 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Nordic Nanovector ASA (OL:NANOV), which lost 3.26% or 2.35 points to trade at 69.80 in late trade. Aker Solutions OL (OL:AKSOL) declined 3.08% or 1.25 points to end at 39.31 and Yara International ASA (OL:YAR) shed 3.03% or 10.0 points to 320.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 108 to 69 and 20 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.46% or 0.21 to $46.23 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.58% or 0.28 to hit $48.70 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.69% or 8.57 to trade at $1242.27 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.27% to 9.3392, while USD/NOK fell 1.14% to 8.0654.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.62% at 94.33.
