Investing.com – Indonesia equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Mining, Agriculture and Financials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite added 0.24%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Bank Yudha Bhakti Tbk (JK:BBYB), which rose 22.14% or 29.00 points to trade at 160.00 at the close. Bayu Buana Tbk (JK:BAYU) added 18.56% or 180 points to end at 1150 and Eterindo Wahanatama Tbk (JK:ETWA) was up 17.91% or 12 points to 79 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Sunson Textile Manufacturer (JK:SSTM), which lost 10.00% or 17 points to trade at 153 in late trade. Binakarya Jaya Abadi Tbk PT (JK:BIKA) declined 9.63% or 105 points to end at 985 and Renuka Coalindo Tbk (JK:SQMI) shed 9.43% or 100 points to 960.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 156 to 124 and 104 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.61% or 0.30 to $49.86 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.76% or 0.38 to hit $50.12 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 0.25% or 3.05 to trade at $1226.85 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.39% to 13560.0, while AUD/IDR fell 0.02% to 9817.25.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.20% at 95.21.
