Investing.com - Australian private new capital expenditure rose unexpectedly in the last quarter, official data showed on Thursday.
In a report, Australian Bureau of Statistics said that Australian private new capital expenditure rose to a seasonally adjusted 1.1%, from -2.5% in the prior quarter whose figure was revised up from -4.2%.
Analysts had expected Australian private new capital expenditure to fall -0.3% in the last quarter.
