Investing.com - Gross operating profits of Australian companies rose more-than-expected in the last quarter, official data showed on Monday.
In a report, Australian Bureau of Statistics said that Australian CGOP rose to a seasonally adjusted 3.1%, from 2.5% in the prior quarter whose figure was revised up from 1.7%.
Analysts had expected Australian CGOP to rise to 2.6% in the last quarter.
