Investing.com - Australian approvals to build new homes fell unexpectedly last week, official data showed on Monday.
In a report, Australian Bureau of Statistics said that Australian Building Approvals fell to a seasonally adjusted -5.6%, from -4.8% in the prior week whose figure was revised down from -3.5%.
Analysts had expected Australian Building Approvals to rise to 1.8% last week.
