Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Personal & Household Goods, Oil & Gas and Real Estate sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.91%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS), which rose 2.61% or 6.7 points to trade at 263.5 at the close. Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) added 2.09% or 3.9 points to end at 190.4 and Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA) was up 1.92% or 1.45 points to 76.90 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK), which lost 1.96% or 6.5 points to trade at 324.6 in late trade. Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) declined 0.55% or 2.7 points to end at 483.9 and DSV (CO:DSV) shed 0.44% or 1.2 points to 273.8.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 89 to 66 and 7 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.82% or 0.38 to $46.21 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 1.24% or 0.61 to hit $48.95 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.57% or 6.50 to trade at $1134.90 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.17% to 6.7660, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4580.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.07% at 96.93.
