Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Telecoms, Consumer Services and Consumer Goods sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 0.92%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Lundin Petroleum AB (ST:LUPE), which rose 3.90% or 4.20 points to trade at 112.00 at the close. Sandvik AB (ST:SAND) added 1.76% or 1.25 points to end at 72.45 and Nordea Bank AB (ST:NDA) was up 1.18% or 1.10 points to 94.30 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Svenska Cellulosa AB SCA ser. B (ST:SCAb), which lost 5.00% or 11.7 points to trade at 222.1 in late trade. SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) declined 3.07% or 0.88 points to end at 27.78 and TeliaSonera AB (ST:TLSN) shed 3.06% or 1.38 points to 43.66.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 265 to 178 and 4 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.20% or 0.09 to $45.18 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.55% or 0.27 to hit $48.10 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.01% or 0.10 to trade at $1115.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.18% to 9.3712, while USD/SEK fell 0.05% to 8.3654.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.28% at 96.14.
