Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Industrials, Public Services and Investment sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 0.33%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC), which rose 1.25% or 0.2 points to trade at 16.2 at the close. Grupo Inversiones Suramericana (CN:SIS) added 1.16% or 400.0 points to end at 35000.0 and Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1) was up 0.93% or 240.0 points to 25940.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE), which lost 2.98% or 170.0 points to trade at 5530.0 in late trade. Cementos Argos Pf (CN:CCB_p) declined 2.19% or 210.0 points to end at 9380.0 and Isagen SA (CN:ISG) shed 1.57% or 50.0 points to 3140.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 21 to 8 and 1 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was up 2.94% or 3.42 to $120.05 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 0.78% or 25.50 to hit $3283.00 , while the December Gold contract rose 0.44% or 4.90 to trade at $1108.20 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.28% to 3026.50, while BRL/COP rose 1.42% to 794.07.
The US Dollar Index was unchanged 0.00% at 95.38.
