Benzinga - A staggering $60 million worth of Bitcoin (CRYPTO: BTC) was sent from a dormant wallet that had remained untouched for more than nine years.
What Happened: The wallet received a total of 6,071.5 BTC in 2013 when the price of the apex cryptocurrency was hovering around $663.
Data from the Lookonchain analytics platform said a mysterious whale on Wednesday, transferred 2,071.5 BTC to an address starting with "bc1q".

It remains unclear what prompted the wallet owner's decision to move the digital assets after such a long period of dormancy.

As per December 19, 2013 figures, the entire stash was valued at approximately $4 million when it first received the coins. That same stash is now worth a whopping $178 million.
