What Happened: Musk responded to a post by DogeDesigner about Kabosu’s death, saying, “Rest In Peace.”
Kabosu, who became the face of Dogecoin and other dog-themed cryptocurrencies, passed away at the age of 19. The news was announced by an account dedicated to the legendary canine, stating that Kabosu passed away early morning Japanese time.

The owner revealed that the funeral will be held on May 26 at Flower Kaori in Kotsu no Mori, Narita City.
