Benzinga - Clinton Donnelly, President of CryptoTaxAudit, spoke at Benzinga’s Future of Crypto event and spoke about his company’s unique business model. Donnelly explained that CryptoTaxAudit is like car insurance but for crypto tax returns.

The company was founded in 2018 and at that time, its principal product was tax return preparation for crypto traders.In 2019, they offered to defend clients in audits against the IRS. This offering is one-of-a-kind and Donnelly shared that to date, they are the only company to provide this service.

Approximately 30% of audits they are involved in result in a refund. In the ever-changing world of cryptocurrency and taxes, having professionals who are equipped and ready to handle complicated tax laws is an asset that can’t be beaten.
