Benzinga - Amidst growing speculation about the future trajectory of Bitcoin (CRYPTO: BTC), a prominent voice from the digital asset community weighed in on the debate, suggesting the apex cryptocurrency is a contender set to overshadow the market caps of both gold and silver.

The analysis of the anonymous host of the popular YouTube channel InvestAnswers comes just ahead of Benzinga's Future of Digital Assets conference on Nov. 14, where a multitude of experts will discuss the evolving landscape of digital assets, the host shed light on the underlying difference between Bitcoin and gold.

"People have been worried a lot and I’ve answered so many questions about whether the paper versions of gold and Bitcoin can change their real-world prices," he said.

Highlighting the trustworthiness of Bitcoin, he elaborated, "For gold, it’s impossible to know if there is a gold backing to the paper that exists, which makes things very risky. On the other hand with Bitcoin, it’s much easier to prove and check making it much more trustworthy.”

He further emphasized Bitcoin's inherent advantages, stating, “Believe me, forget the other 20 advantages that Bitcoin has over gold. I believe Bitcoin will smash gold performance over the next 8 to 10 years because you can verify."

Addressing concerns about potential market manipulation by industry giants, he assured, "I know a lot of people are worried about paper and manipulation by JPMorgan Chase & Co.'s (NYSE: JPM) and the BlackRock Inc.'s (NYSE: BLK) of the world but they can’t because it can be so easily verified.”
