Benzinga - Crypto influencer Ben Armstrong on Tuesday alleged that Hit Network, the organization he was associated with, has not only taken away his financial resources but has also left him unable to fight back.

Appeal For Assistance

Armstrong took to X to appeal to his followers for assistance in funding his legal campaign to regain control of BitBoy Crypto. As of now, donations totaling over $120,000 have been contributed to his Ethereum (CRYPTO: ETH), Bitcoin (CRYPTO: BTC), and Cardano (CRYPTO: ADA) addresses.

The crypto influencer narrated the extent of the ordeal he has endured, describing incidents of "blackmail, extortion, public humiliation, death threats, and the spread of outright lies."

"What I've been through has been the most traumatic experience of my life. My own friends and full blood family members have turned on me over money to turn my life into a living hell. My family and I have been scared for our lives. After we were blackmailed to comply," he said in a tweet.

‘Promoting Sketchy Projects’

Crypto researcher ZachXBT took a dig at Armstrong, asking "How about all the people who lost money as a direct result of you promoting sketchy projects and more recently meme coins?"

Price Action: At the time of writing, Bitcoin was trading at $27,134.14, up 1.14% in the last 24 hours, according to Benzinga Pro.
