Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Industrials, Financials and Investment sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 1.32%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp (CN:PRU), which rose 1.32% or 80.0 points to trade at 6150.0 at the close. Pfgrupoarg (CN:ARG_p) added 0.58% or 100.0 points to end at 17240.0 and Banco De Bogota SA (CN:BBO) was down 0.17% or 100.0 points to 59000.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p), which lost 7.62% or 120.0 points to trade at 1455.0 in late trade. Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) declined 4.95% or 330.0 points to end at 6330.0 and Celsia SA (CN:CEL) shed 4.44% or 140.0 points to 3010.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 30 to 2 and 1 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was up 0.02% or 0.03 to $117.30 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 0.13% or 4.00 to hit $3184.50 , while the December Gold contract rose 0.06% or 0.70 to trade at $1166.90 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 1.11% to 2949.00, while BRL/COP rose 1.59% to 758.59.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.10% at 97.01.
